  • mother-tongue English and 10+ years' experience as a copywriter, translator and editor; MA in Translation
  • 16 years' wine trade experience; DipWSET
  • 13 years as a tour guide in Scotland
  • qualified scuba diver since 2008
  • a passion for finding the right word to translate both the sense of your text and its tone 
  • a freelancer's work-ethic and a horror of missing deadlines
  • professional recognition: Associate of the Institute of Translation and Interpretation (AITI); member of Mediterranean Editors and Translators (MET)
  • a commitment to CPD and life-long learning
  • above all - a sense of humour and willingness to help you get the result you want when you want it.
